International presentation of living art shows various areas of performative actions – the artists will act within “live art” matter in their actions, using motions, words, sounds, images, intermedia and interactive activities.

ARTI GRABOWSKI – a graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow, and the Universidad de Castilla-La Mancha in Cuenca (Spain), one of most acclaimed representative of the younger generation of performance artists. In ten years he accomplished over one hundred suggestive, humorous and critical actions. He presented his performance at most important festivals of performance, theatre festivals, and visual art festivals in Europe, Asia and the Americas. For several years he has been collaborating with the Poznań-based theatre “Porywacze Ciał” [Body Snatchers]. He is also a painter, sculptor, filmmaker and actor. Along with Anna Syczewska he makes up artistic and curatorial duo “Toothsystem.”

bigNOTWENDIGKEIT Group – founded in 2004 by Anna K. Becker and Katharina Bischoff during at Studium der Angewandten Theaterwissenschaft in Giessen. Particular projects are implemented by the ensemble varying in size – in Szczecin the founders will perfrom in three-people team, accompanied by Esther Becker. Works by BigNOTWENDIGKEIT are characterized by, above all, close cooperation with all persons and entities involved in the project to exchange various language forms and patterns of thought. The group intentionally plays a game with forms and categories of reality and fiction. To get to the essence of a given subject complex, the artist have developed concepts of the undertaking and form of presentation, and the final form of performative actions often differ from classical theatre evening.

Another encounter with Sedina – a patron of Szczecin, of artists and non-artists alike – led by collaborators of the Sedina Institute gathering most dedicated adepts of Sedinology. Their mission is carry on scientific activities and popularize results of their studies among the residents of Western Pomerania. Cultural and spiritual meetings, held since 2010, shows not only the rich personality of Sedina, but also the social potential of Szczecin spirituality. Meetings, far from cheap sectarianism, combined with good taste entertainment, offer a genuine local bond with Sedina.

Actions presented within the frames of the project “Bridges of Theatre – Bridges of Culture. On the mutual influence of Polish and German theatre.”
