TOUCH FOR TOUCH. DANSING

An intergenerational showcase of dansing at the theatre. Champagne fun, a blaze of colours, dance moves and the glitter of a disco ball... Let's swirl in a dancing embrace, let the floor tremble, let the spotlights shine and the dance floor light up with the fire of our bodies. Long live the ball! In the words of Erin Manning: "Touch creates an event, touch creates an event". Shall we dance?

Imagine you're at a dansing.... What attracts your attention? What intimidates you? What embarrasses you? What motivates and prompts you to touch the other person? Does it have to be lust? Maybe it is affect, kindness or caring? Or perhaps lack and longing? What happens when there is an irresistible urge and desire to touch that cannot be satisfied?

For the Dansing, we recommend wearing clothes and shoes comfortable for dancing.

The lyrics of the songs that make up the playlist of the theatrical dance floor also speak of this (…) Touch by touch. Dansing is not exactly a play, it's not even a performance or a happening. It's a form that doesn't have a name yet. It's an ephemeral hybrid... Ephemeral because everything that happens there is phenomenally transient, and a hybrid because it combines many seemingly distant forms: theater, dancing, banquet, date... It's an extraordinary game of creators and performers with the audience".
